2010 Oregon Trail Rally

Made the trek out to Dufur, OR to watch a couple stages of the Rally America Oregon Trail Rally.

Seattle SX 2010

Took the train up to Seattle for the weekend to catch The Monster Energy AMA Supercross. Had to miss it last year to have that pesky wedding of ours but it was awesome to see Kevin Windham get a win and witness the riders negotiate the very gnarly and technical track! Here are some pics from the pits...

Pow Pow Powder Snow

Finally caught up to the storm thats been dumping a bunch of snow all over the NW. Usually these only last through the week leaving us weekend warriors with the left overs but this weather surge lasted almost an entire week. It was great to have it snow all day and not get wet from it. and up on the steeps of Ski Bowl the snow was awesome. About knee deep and just fluffy enough to get some white room action. Finally got my pow fix...






I only had my cell phone on me so the picture taking was limited but this shot above is from the East Wall of Ski Bowl's upper bowl. its about a 5 minute traverse with a couple sections of 1 foot skate action and plenty of tows from my wife's ski poles. Just left of the center of the shot is the top of the Upper Bowl chair lift. Thats where we started from.

Deep Within Timberline's Still Creek Basin

My wife and I stumbled upon a gnarly trail deep in the woods of Timberline Lodge. And i do mean deep, there was a creek we could hear running right next to us half the time, and it bottle necked once and i had to unstrap and get up a little hill. we had to duck branches and trees...major leg burn and a super fun run! still finding plenty of new terrain at a place i been coming to for almost 15 years...

I dream of days I used to creep...

KATCH 1 from Hawaii has a book out now. I have been wanting to get a copy soon. he has the most unique graf style and has been around for a grip...I saw this sketch and can relate for sure. And lets not forget www.naturalkoncept.com
